On The GrOw Again

Part I

My husband (mi esposo), Jose, and I are extremely excited! Josey, my daughter(mi hija), is too and just doesn't know it. =o) She's just along for the ride and meeting new people.

Anyway, as the new year has started, we've decided to get out more. That means going beyond our comfort zone, inviting new people to church and witnessing more. We have gone to a village in another district, Corozal. That is the northernmost district in Belize. Corozal is about 1 hour away from us.

On Sunday, we went and invited some families, and only one family came to church. This lady was touched by God and came to the altar. She had tears streaming down her face as the Lord was stirring her heart.

Yesterday, Jose and I went to visit her. She wasn't home, but her mother was and invited us in. We spent around 45 minutes in her home. We got to meet her husband and other children. The mother told us that her daughter was telling her how beautiful the service was and how God had greatly touched her and how she wanted to change. Looks to me as if they are searching for more.

Part II

Last week, we got word about another lady in Corozal. So, I called her up yesterday to find out if we could come and visit her. Her response, "Sure, what time?" So today, Jose and I went to Corozal to visit her. We got to meet her, one of her daughters and her grandson (what a sweetie). She seemed happy about us being there and invited us back. She said we could set up a tent and have services at her home. She also wants to come to our anniversary services in 2 weeks.

Again, we are excited and are looking forward to visiting with these people again. I can't wait to see what God has in store for these families.

Look out 2013, here we come!!!
