A Lot of Newsy News!!!

I’m running behind on my blogging! EEEK!

Broken Down Bus
This last weekend brought a lot of repairs (reparación). With all of these visitors, we need our vehicles up and running. Jose has been working tirelessly to get them running. The visitors are coming from 6 different places. That’s a lot of vehicle upkeep. Please keep in mind the roads here are HORRIBLE!!! Which means A LOT of repairs. Due to several couples doing outreach in all of those different areas, we desperately need larger vehicles with good suspension. Keep this in mind when you pray.
See if you can find the villages we work in: Tower Hill, Carmelita, Trial Farm, Guinea Grass (Headquarters), Fire Burn (You won't be able to find this one) (These are all located in Orange Walk District) & Corozal District! We have churches in San Felipe & San Jose too... There are visitors coming from Ladyville, Belize City as well.

We ended the contest on Sunday, 27th, 2013, with 132 visitors. It was a tight race, with both teams working super hard! Remember, there were no losers. The team that brought the most visitors was Bro. Elias’ team, so the blue team won.

In a joint effort, this coming weekend, the two teams will be cooking a cow underground. (They call it a PIB here.) We will accompany that with rice & beans and potato salad. (In Belize, when you say rice & beans, it is mixed/cooked together.)

This blog post is a little more newsy (is that even a word?) than normal.

Do you remember the family that we went to visit last Tuesday? They came to church Sunday night! The mother came to the front and prayed really good. The father talked to Jose after church and said he really enjoyed the service. He said to please make sure the vehicle passed for him on Thursday night. This is really exciting because our efforts to go and invite visitors were not in vain!

Please pray about the vehicle situation and for those visitors as they are seeking more from God!
